A Green Committee was established in 2003, its goal being to increase awareness and understanding of the concept of recycling.
Since then interest in the environment, understanding of matters ‘green’ and conservation issues has changed and developed. Our Green Committee has adapted to meet the new challenges.
Its focus is now on the education of students, parents/guardians and teachers on the fragility of our world and the need to work constantly to protect our environment for the generations to come. The group meets weekly and keeps the school on its toes in relation to its obligations, with imaginative awareness campaigns and events. The school was awarded its first Green Flag in May 2018 so the focus now is on securing the next flag.
