On May 1st, twelve Transition Year students who will be part of our school’s EMBER team next year joined the Loreto community for a fantastic pilgrimage to Knock, alongside schools from all over the country. It was a special day dedicated to reflection and prayer, and our theme was “Loreto Schools: Pilgrims of Hope Walking in Truth.” The students had the pleasure of listening to engaging talks by Sr. Elizabeth Cotter and Mrs. Gráinne O’Hanlon about Mary Ward. They discussed how her values continue to be relevant in our lives today and inspired the students to be role models with those values. We wrapped up the day with a beautiful Mass celebrated by Bishop Paul Dempsey, which truly brought everyone together in a spirit of love and hope. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience for all!
