The Parents’ Association are delighted to announce the 1st Annual Keelin Shanley Writing Award for senior cycle students. Senior cycle students are invited to submit works of short fiction, poetry or journalism which will be judged by Writer-in-Residence, Dave Rudden.
The award is named in honor of one of Ireland’s foremost journalists, broadcasters and writers, Keelin Shanley, who was also a graduate of Loreto on the Green. This is an award designed to showcase our students’ writing talent and allow the opportunity to fine-tune their writing ambitions.
