Today we officially launch the Teresa Ball 6th year Writing Award. This award, in honour of the bicentenary of Teresa Ball, is for a body of work and will be presented to the winning student at her Graduation. We hope that the award will endure long into the future and we’re really excited to see the amazing work our students produce. Anyone interested in writing for a hobby, has work prepared for class that they feel is suitable or is interested in pursuing a career in writing, should definitely think about applying. Posters and information will be up in each 6th year base classroom and is available in the link here and also from the library if you email library@loretothegreen.ie.
