Morning Reflection from the Wellbeing Committee

Happy Wednesday Everyone!

This Wednesday the Wellbeing Committee would like to bring awareness to Pieta House.
Pieta House provide a professional one-to-one therapeutic service. All of their services are provided free of charge and no referral is needed.
Pieta’s three main pillars of practice are prevention, intervention, and postvention. Pieta’s prevention services include The Resilience Academy and the Amber Flag.
Darkness Into Light is their flagship fundraiser, an event that is almost entirely organised by volunteers. Pieta is 80% completely funded by the public, and has reached over 59,000 people since 2006.
This year as part of Wellbeing Week, we are organising a school wide participation in Darkness Into Light! We hope to encourage our school community to take part as one – more details to follow!
We are attaching a video on Pieta House and their Darkness Into Light fundraiser, as well as some mental health support services and infographics. Spun Out provide some particularly useful and wide variety of resources.

The Wellbeing Committee wish you a wonderful week ahead
