Ceiliúr record Silent Night in aid of the Capuchin Day Centre

At Loreto College St Stephen’s Green, Carols by Candlelight is a long-standing Christmas tradition and a highlight of the school calendar, not just for the magic of the occasion but because all donations on the night go to support brother Kevin’s work at the Capuchin Day Centre.  At this time of year there would normally be the hustle and bustle of rehearsals in the wonderful surroundings of Church Street, the sound of young voices and the tuning of instruments.  Instead, Ceiliúr, the school choir, directed by Caoimhe Iníon Uí Áinle, visited the Capuchin Church at 7am this morning and recorded Silent Night. This will be available to view on YouTube on Friday 17th December.
We would love to match other years and so our target is as ambitious as ever €10,000. We urge you to enjoy the music while reaching out to the homeless of Dublin. To make a donation please click GoFundMe.  Please support as generously as you can. We need you more than ever this Christmas!
