Niamh Lawlor, Ruth Keating, Clodagh O’Regan, Aoife Corcoran, Hannah Byrne and Niamh Kyne all from 6th Year along with their teacher Mrs Moran flew to Lourdes on Sunday 7th September for 5 days with 21 other school groups from the Dublin area to assist pilgrims on the Dublin Diocesan Pilgrimage.

Together they acted as helpers to the pilgrims, with the aim of making the pilgrimage as enjoyable as possible for the VIPs. They escorted them to religious ceremonies, acted as companions and ensured all their needs were fulfilled. The hours were long and tiring although no one complained as it was an extremely rewarding and gratifying experience for all those involved.
