Some children with a grandmother figure (known as a "susu") in Nyumbani Village, Kitui.

Planting melia trees. These grow to about 10 feet in a few years and are used as timber in the Village.

We harvested 90kg of tomatoes one morning. These were later given out as part of the weekly food distribution to the 82 families.

Diagnostic Laboratory - This was opened a few months ago. When children are admitted, they are tested with regard to their HIV status and treated with medication according to their needs.

One evening, in a cluster house, we were treated to a performance choreographed by the children themselves. They used whistles and drums as accompaniment.

During a Mass of Thanksgiving, Standard 8 presented each of their teachers with a handmade "Thank You" card. This was their last day as primary school students and they were beginning state exams the following week.
