Mission Possible Group
This very active group meets weekly. Its focus is the fostering of interest in the efforts of all who work in developing countries and in particular the areas where Loreto Sisters have schools. Fundraising activities such as bake sales, fun sports events and dress-up days allow the group to send much needed funds to places like Rumbek in Sudan which through the work of the Mission Possible team has become a household name in the school community. The focus for 2010/2011 begins with a fundraiser for the Soup Kitchen in Church Street, Dublin 7. The Mission Possible Group are organising a bake sale to raise funds and are involved in raising awareness around the school about the Soup Kitchen. They are also taking an active part in Simon Community Week (4th to 10th October 2010).
