Ceiliur
Ceiliúr the voluntary choir, directed by Caoimhe Ní Áinle involves girls from first to sixth year who meet twice a week to rehearse for school celebrations and concerts. The main events for them each year are the Christmas concert - their personal favourite - and the annual school summer concert, Maytime music. Their repertoire includes music from all eras and is very challenging, wide and varied. The members of the choir are very committed and enthunsiastic and are proud to be involved in such an important aspect of school life at the green. The choir were invited to sing at the commemoration mass for the sisters who died in the fire at Loreto in 1986 and were last year invited to sing at the Loreto Past pupils' anniversary mass. They received great praise for their contribution to the both occasions.
No auditions are held, all that is required to join this choir is a love of music and singing.
