175th Anniversary Celebrations
€50,000 which had been raised during our 175th anniversary celebrations, was given to Temple Street Children’s Hospital in October 2009, to purchase an incubator. Swine flu restrictions prevented us from visiting the hospital until Wednesday 3rd February. Ms Barrett, Iníon Uí Áinle, Ms Maverley and two 2nd years, Sarah Jane Houston and Fiona Casey were invited to the neo-natal I.C.U where the incubator is located. Thanks to staff, parents and pupils for your incredible support throughout this milestone year in our history.
The remaining €19,356 was donated to Loreto Kenya.
