Pebbledash   at National Museum of Ireland, Collins Barracks

In November, the 4T Class were chosen to take part in this project which explored the concept of living in the city and discussed the challenges facing architects and planners in designing for the future.  The focal point was the installation of a ‘typical’ Dublin Local Authority pebbledash house incorporating a pebbledash façade and metal frame skeletal structure which was on show in Clarke Square, Collins Barracks. The project was a fantastic opportunity to work with a practising artist and to take part in a national exhibition.  It was a chance to try something new and become involved in a visual discussion on the future of Dublin.
