The first meeting of the Book Club for 1st and 2nd years took place on Wednesday, 15 October.  Ms. Anne-Marie Ryan, a member of the English Department, has just published a book called – and Ms. Ryan came along to the first meeting to talk about her book.  The girls were very interested and decided to choose it as one of the books to read for the next meeting.   The other books chosen are by William Nicholson, by Bryce Courtenay and by Cassandra Clare.  The next meeting of this Book Club will take place in November.
