The next meeting will be in early January.  The date will be advised after Christmas.  Everyone is welcome to attend especially new members.

Ms. Winters and Ms. Doran would like to wish the Junior Book Club members a very Happy Christmas.

In memory of Elaine

As a school community we mourn the loss of our wonderful student, Elaine, who died suddenly on Wednesday, 11th December.

Ar dheis Dé go raibh a h-anam.

In memory of Elaine

Even if they die before their time,

good people will find rest.

Life is not about how long we live,

but how wisely we live.

A good life is a long life.

Good people try to please God and God loves them.

Coming to perfection in a short while

is the same as having a long life.

Good people's lives are pleasing to God.

Mercy and grace are what God has ready for good people.

God will protect them.

P.E. Trip - Inter Loreto Tag Rugby Blitz

The class of 2T were invited to take part in an Inter-Loreto Tag Rugby Blitz in Loreto Crumlin.

We got there by bus alongside bus driver Neville who gave us some handy tips for the matches we played in.

When we arrived, we were put into teams which comprised of 2nd years from Loreto Crumlin, Loreto Foxrock and ourselves.  This helped us to get to know the girls more easily.  Each team was a different country and we also performed our own Haka for each other!

As a class we definitely improved on our teamwork as well as thoroughly enjoying the day.

Thank you to Ms. Crinion for organising the trip and to all the teachers who allowed us to attend.
