We provide a holistic education wherein we strive for excellence in the pursuit of knowledge. Social concerns and spiritual values are central to our educational philosophy, while sporting and cultural endeavours are encouraged. Each student is challenged to realise her full potential and to recognise the dignity of each human being.
The six year educational programme of the school comprises a Junior Cycle of three years leading to the Junior Certificate Examination and a three year Senior Cycle consisting of a Transition Year and a two year course leading to the Leaving Certificate Examination. All students undertake the Transition Year.
Also very important is the wide range of extra-curricular sports, music and other activities, which can be viewed elsewhere on the site.
Students follow school-designed courses in core subjects and have opportunities to explore new subjects which may later be taken to Leaving Certificate level.
All students are prepared for Leaving Certificate. In addition to the three core subjects, students select four elective options from the choices available.
